“Where The Water Pours”

“Where the Water Pours” will be a video documentary that examines the history of Sakonnet Point and the Sakonnet Point Lighthouse, as well the fishing industry and those who make a living working at The Point.

1:15 Films & Collective Thought Media Announce Newest Project “American Luchador”

American Luchador is the newest project from 1:15 Films and Collective Thought Media. Written by award winning filmmaker Mike Messier and directed by award winning filmmaker Nic Carcieri, American Luchador is a story about letting go of the past to create a better future set in the world of Mexican Lucha Libre wrestling. It stars professional wrestler, JT Dunn and Jose Gonsalves.

American Luchador is a story that both wrestling fans and non-fans can relate to. It’s about how though we are shaped by our pasts, our future is not bound by it.

It is the goal of the producers of American Luchador to tell a story that is compelling, entertaining and authentic. Your contributions will help achieve those goals.

A wonderful evening of food, drink, and merriment. Master Actor Michael Thurber will entertain and delight on piano while the intriguing filmmaker Mike Messier will share an advance screening of the film The Actor starring David Graziano, Christine Perla and Diana Porter, co-directed with Skip Shea. Come explore the unique and historic Courthouse Center for the Arts and meet the wonderful Arts princess Loraine Craig Lesniak.

Your $25 ticket donation will go to support the production of Collective Thought Media’s next film Disregard for the Vampire, starring the esteemed Michael Thurber. The film is written by Mr. Messier and Mr. Court Fisk and will be directed by Mr. Messier, an award winning filmmaker. Associates include Ms. Anne Patricia Murray, Mr. Demmene Syronn, Mr. James Russell DeMello, Ms. Lesniak, Mr. Roman Vangeli and Mr. Mickey Montes

Catering by Westerly High School Culinary Program includes a pasta bar and appetizer service. Cash bar for drinks benefits The Courthouse Center for the Arts.

RISFG member Chris Hunter shoots video for RI band Wild Sun

RISFG member Chris Hunter has produced, directed, shot & edited the first music video for Westerly’s Wild Sun. The video is for their track “Monterey” and features a cinematic look and feel with model / photographer Tiffany Ann making her first performance as an actress.
